Sesame Street does a parody of the hit television series ‘Mad Men’. Though of course the children would have no idea what Mad Men is about (hopefully) as it is definitely not age appropriate, but I suppose it was purely for the parent’s entertainment. The clip shows Mr. Don Draper and his colleagues working on an advertisement campaign and they go through a series of emotions during it. Just as the characters on the original show do – anger, sadness, happiness mixed together in two short minutes. The clip also teaches the children the word ‘sycophants’! You would not expect a children’s show to spoof a serious adult drama, but when it happens, it works.
