LAHORE – Mujahid Squad SP Muntazir Mehdi punished 92 cops including 9 dismissals on charges of misconduct and corruption. According to a release issued on Tuesday, Muntazir dismissed 9 officials from service over long absence.
He issued censure notices to 40 cops, while forfeiture of service was awarded to 15 cops including three sub inspectors and two assistant sub inspectors. He also issued warning letters to 31 cops and show-cause notices to 42 cops of Mujahid Squad. He said that he will not spare corrupt and negligent cops.
