LAHORE – Punjab Assembly Opposition Leader Chaudhary Zaheer-ud-Din has announced that whenever Pakistan People’s party (PPP) will join opposition benches, he will resign from the post following the Pervaiz Elahi’s precedent. While talking to the journalists on Monday outside Punjab Assembly building, Chaudhary Zaheer-ud-Din said that lotacracy was a menace and added that the party had prepared references against the lotas of the party as they had not responded to the show -cause notices issued to them earlier.
He further said that Lota Nawaz (turncoat lovers) and Lota producers (turncoat producers) always exploit the situation to destabilise the democratic system.
He added that Punjab chief minister had kept mum over the issue of load shedding for the last three years and hit the issue when PML-N broke with its coalition partner in the province.
He said that PML-Q would not let any turncoat or its patron to pollute the atmosphere of the Punjab Assembly as district organisations of the party had been directed to eliminate the turncoats. He alleged that the provincial government, after handing over the municipal organisations to the government servants, had now planned to hand over the province to the turncoats.
