‘CBC demolishing LEAs’ illegal constructions’

KARACHI – Station Commander 5 Corps and Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) President Brig Anis Ahmed said on Monday that the board has launched a campaign for demolishing illegal constructions set up by law enforcement agencies (LEAs) within its jurisdiction.
Brig Ahmed was presiding over a meeting at the CBC office. Additional CEO I Basit Saleem Shah, Additional CEO II Zaki Raider Rizvi, Lt Col Zafar Iqbal, Lt Col Abrar Hussain, board member Aziz Suharwardi, chief engineer Niaz Hussain, engineer Ghulam Abid Shah, and public relations officer Amir Arab Ali were present at the meeting.
The CBC chief reviewed 34 agendas of the board and approved most of them. He instructed the officials that they should ensure supply of drinking water to DHA residents.
He further said that CBC contractors should be directed to maintain quality and high standards while carrying out development work. He also congratulated Horticulture Wing’s in-charge Hassan Anwar Siddiqui for winning the second prize in a recently held flower show and announced prize money for CBC gardeners
