QUETTA – Two senior judges of lower courts in Balochistan went missing along with a police guard and driver from Usta Muhammad area of Jaffarabad district on Sunday, police told Pakistan Today. Police officials said Sibi District and Sessions Judge Jan Muhammad Gohar and Senior Civil Judge Muhammad Ali Kakar had gone to Usta Muhammad to attend a wedding and had gone missing on their way back to Sibi.
They said both judges had left for Usta Muhammad after having tea with a friend in Dera Murad Jamali and while their vehicle had been seized from Goth Abdul Samad near Dera Murad Jamali, their whereabouts were unknown. Balochistan Home and Tribal Affairs Secretary Akbar Durrani said district officials and law enforcement agencies had been conducting a search and rescue operation but had so far not succeeded in finding the missing judges.
