LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has sent a summary to Governor Latif Khosa for the ouster of ministers belongs to the Pakistan People’s Party from the Punjab cabinet. However, sources in the Governor’s House denied receiving any such summary.
As per details, Chief Minister Shahbaz on Saturday sent an advice to the governor for the ouster of six PPP ministers from the provincial cabinet. A private TV channel reported Governor Khosa as saying that he would act in accordance with the law and the constitution when deciding on the summary.
On the other hand, the Punjab government has issued a notification of sacking 13 parliamentary secretaries of PPP. All 13 secretaries were sacked by the chief minister. Shahbaz had nine PML-N ministers and six PPP ministers in his cabinet and detailed discussion among PML-N leaders over the formation of a new Punjab cabinet is underway.
