Shahbaz sanctions Rs 90 million for roads

DASKA – Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has approved special grant of Rs 90 million for the early repair, reconstruction and widening of three main roads. The PML-N leader from Daska MPA Yahya Gul Nawaz said the CM had approved this grant during his recent visit to Sialkot.
He said Rs 40 million would be spent on upgrading the Daska city’s main College Road and construction of a service road along it. He said the government was spending Rs 50 million on the reconstruction of Mundeyki-Buddah Goraya-Satrah Road and Bambanwala-Mitraanwali-Goindkey Road with to provide the better means of communication to the people on priority basis.
FIVE BIKES LIFTED: Robbers took away five motorcycles in separate incidents from various places in the city. Shahid Mehmood, Qaisar Mahmood, Shakil, Rashid and Shahzad found are the victims.
GIRL ABDUCTED: Riaz and his brother abducted a girl from the Sadar police limits. Reportdly, the accused entered the house of Usman and allegedly abducted his sister. They also took away cash and gold ornaments.
TWO POS ARRESTED: Begowala police arrested two proclaimed offenders and recovered illegal arms from them. Theose arrested were Liaquat Ali and Samiullah.
