The body of the victim was shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities. In another incident, a man was shot dead outside his home in Sector 1-C of Orangi Town in the wee hours of Friday. Orangi Sub-Inspector Abdul Sattar said the body of 48-year-old Hafizur Rehman, son of Shafi, was found outside his house in Gulshanabad.
The victim, who ran a billiard zone, had suffered a single bullet to his forehead. “Rehman might have been killed over a personnel enmity,” he added. The sub-inspector said that Rehman had to attend a marriage ceremony on Thursday night but he was found dead outside his home on Friday morning.

Police said that 19-year-old Faraz, son of Riaz, 17-year-old Omair, son of Asif, and two-year-old Hassan suffered bullet wounds and were shifted to the Sindh Government Hospital Malir.
“The attack might be due to a minor controversy between the MQM and the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz but we are not sure about the attackers,” police added. ‘Target killer’ arrested: Police on Friday claimed to have arrested a man allegedly involved in the murder of four councillors belonging to the MQM and recovering a TT pistol from his possession.
