LAHORE – The Livestock and Dairy Development Department Punjab is organising a ‘Consultative Workshop of Provincial Livestock Forum’ on February 28 at University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore.
The main objective of the event is to present and discuss the Punjab Economic Opportunities Programme (PEOP) strategy to achieve common understanding of the stakeholders. The PEOP was actually launched by Government of Punjab and DFID jointly to increase productivity of livestock. This consultative workshop would be helpful to identify the priority areas of interventions for enhancing productivity, to suggest improvement in designing and implementation for the production enhancement initiatives, to find potential partners for assisting implementation team, to develop linkages between stakeholders and to highlight the role of Provincial Livestock Forum in livestock development.
