KARACHI – The ANP Sindh chapter on Friday strongly opposed the construction of 20 new check posts in different areas of Karachi, terming it a conspiracy against the Pakhtun settlers.
In a statement issued from the Bacha Khan Markaz, ANP Sindh Spokesman Qadir Khan stated that making an example of Kati Pahari, the City District Government Karachi has made a false decision to construct 20 more check posts.
He alleged that it was an attempt to harass the Pakhtun residents settled in Karachi. “If the government does not stop, the Pakhtuns will demolish these check posts,” said Khan, adding ‘one party has made Karachi a no-go area for other political parties and there is a need to take action against it.’
