LAHORE – Dr Ishrat Ul Edab Khan, Governor Sindh and Dr Syed Mohammad Ali Shah, Sindh Sports Minister have hailed the Pakistan Cycling Federation for organising the Tour de Pakistan cycle race from Karachi to Abottabad. The race will be held from March 8 to 20 and 14 teams, including five international teams, are expected to participate in the event.
In separate messages, both the Sindh government officials facilitated the officials for arranging the event. Mohammad Ali Shah said the government was promoting sports at grass roots level and wanted to bring fresh talent to sports.
He praised the federation in its efforts and devotion to promote cycling in the country. Dr Eshrat Ebad said; “It is a matter of great pleasure for me to extend heartiest felicitation to the organisers of the 16th Tour de Pakistan.”
