Crime on the rise in Daska

DASKA – Daska is in the grip of a fresh crime wave as the people feel insecure owing to the rising robberies and thefts in the city.
The people alleged that Daska police had failed to protect their lives and properties and added that the culprits involved in heinous crimes had not been traced.
They further said the Daska police remained busy discharging special political duties leaving the citizens at the mercy of criminals. The outlaws remained active in Daska and took away a car, a motorcycle, gold ornaments and other valuables in different strikes in Daska.
Social, religious and political circles of the city have expressed concern over the rising heinous robberies and thefts in the city’s congested residential, commercial and industrial areas. They have urged Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the Punjab IGP, the Gujranwala regional police officer (RPO) and the Sialkot district police officer (DPO) to take immediate measures to make Daska a peaceful city.
