LAHORE – Members of the Ajoka Theatre, led by Madeeha Gauhar, along with Usman Peerzada from the Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop and Samina Ahmed from Samina Ahmed Productions will be holding a press conference at the Lahore Press Club on February 25 at 6 pm on Friday.
The conference will be held in response to the statement of the Interior Minister Rahman Malik in which he said that all artists will require an NOC prior to leaving the country. The statement came after prominent singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan violated an Indian Customs Act by carrying on him more cash than he was allowed to, and was subsequently given a fine after tough interrogation.
