MULTAN – In continuation of relief activities conducted by the Ocean Pakistan Limited (OPL) after floods, a company of Hashoo Group, the construction of 12 houses for most-affected families in the village Manjhi Wala, Kot Addu, has been successfully completed.
These houses contain a unit of two rooms with a veranda in front with a total covered area of 875 square-feet per unit. Talking to the media representative at the site, General Manager OPL Col (r) Tahir said the Hashoo Group was committed to help flood affectees during painstaking rehabilitation process and best possible facilities had been provided in these homes according to directions of Hashoo Group Chairman Sadruddin Hashwani.
He expressed the hope that the initiative would encourage other organisations from corporate and social sector to contribute in a similar manner. Group Media Advisor Jamil Khawer said Sadruddin Hashwani had promised to continue these efforts till the process of rehabilitation was completed.
