Two gunned down over divorce issue

GUJRANWALA – Two youths were gunned down and one was injured over a divorce issue at Mohallah Bakhtewala while one of the killers was captured and handed over to Sabzi Mandi Police by the residents.
Reportedly, Muhammad Yasin divorced his wife, a sister of Saeed, one of the accused, last month. The father of Saeed died of heart attack during the arbitration dialogues which were being carried out by both the families to resolve the disputes. It intensified tension between the two families and, on the day of the incident, Muhammad Saeed along with his accomplices entered the house of Muhammad Yasin, opened indiscriminate firing.
Haji Adeel and Chand, the brothers of Muhammad Yasin, and a cousin Zahid were injured. Haji Adeel and Zahid died instantly. The firing created panic in the locality and people captured one of the assassins, Muhammad Saeed, and started torturing him. Meanwhile, the police reached the spot, arrested the accused and took the bodies to the hospital.
TWO BURNT ALIVE: Two labourers were burnt alive while another sustained critical burn injuries when a steel furnace blasted during a melting process in Eimanabad. Eimanabad police said that one of the furnaces blasted during the loading of raw steel in it. As a result, three labourers Abid, Imran and Waris were engulfed by the melted steel.
FIA ARRESTS FAKE TRAVEL AGENT: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a travel agent Muhammad Iftikhar from Civil Lines and seized scores of passports and other documents from him. FIA Deputy Director Shahid Hussain said that investigations had been started into human trafficking incidents after having found suspicious documents at the travel agency.
