PBIT urges LNG import for industry

LAHORE – To overcome the growing natural gas shortages, Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) has been coordinating efforts of importing Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) for large industrial consumers. A meeting was held under the chairmanship of PBIT Chief Executive Officer Saadat Muzafar here on Wednesday, which was attended by industrialist and business leaders.
International delegates of LNG companies were also present in the meeting. In the meeting, an overview of the project was presented to the audience, which was followed by an in-depth technical discussion. The meeting created momentum and optimism among stakeholders to work together to make this initiative a success.
