Pakistan blind cricketers win Australia series

LAHORE – Pakistan blind cricket team won their second T20 match against Australia at Adelaide on Wednesday. Pakistan clinched the match by 43 runs after scoring 232 runs for the loss of two wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Muhammad Jameel made a brisk 97 off just 47 balls. Anees Javeed and Masood Jan remained unbeaten at 63 and 59, respectively.
Australia’s Chris Bailie took two wickets. In reply, Australia could score only 187 runs, after losing nine wickets. Brett Wilson was the top scorer for Australia with 38 runs, while Mathew Horsey scored 34 runs. Yasir Andleeb took 3 wickets for Pakistan, while Abdul Razzaq claimed two. Muhammad Jameel was declared man of the match. With this win, Pakistan took the unassailable lead of 2-0 in three match series. The third and final T20 will be played today (February 24). The ODI series will commence from February 26.
