‘Labour policy violators won’t be spared’

HAFIZABAD – The payment of at least Rs 7,000 minimum wages to workers under the Labour Policy 2010 will be ensured at all cost while a complaint cell has been set up at Hafizabad. This was stated by District Officer Labour Naveed Qureshi in a press release on Monday.
He warned that strict action would be taken against the mills owners found violating the rules of paying monthly wages of Rs 7,000. He said that complaints in this regard can be got registered at the compliant cell against the violators, he said and added a complaint could be got registered on telephone number 0547-525938 with the office of the district officer labour.

KITE FLYING BANNED: The district coordination officer (DCO) has banned kite flying and manufacturing as well as sale of kites in the revenue limits of the district under Section 144/PPC. The DCO directed all the station house officers (SHOs) of the police stations in the district to ensure implementation of the ban in letter and sprit. He warned the officers showing negligence in this connection would not be spared.
