LAHORE – The 30th U-19 Junior Hockey Championship will be played at Bahawalpur Hockey Stadium from February 26 to March 13. According to an official of the Pakistan Hockey Federaton, players will only be allowed to represent their parent department and if any player has switched to another department, he should have to provide his transfer documents for scrutiny.
He said: “According to PHF Constitution, the players employed by departments will have to fulfill all the requirements before participating in the championship. “For transfer from one department to another, they must produce “Relieving Certificate” and the “Joining Report” from the new department,” he said.
He further stated that for the smooth conduct of the Championship, the PHF has included the following three umpires in the Panel of Technical Officials: Muhammad Afzal (PTCL), Muhammad Mushtaq (WAPDA) and Atif Malik (Lahore).
