Villagers demand Sui gas supply

DASKA – The residents of Bambanwala village have demanded the supply of Sui gas.
A beautiful village, Bambanwala, situated at a distance of a few kilometers from the Daska city at Haad BRB, is deprived of the Sui gas facility. Women are suffering a lot and are suffering from eye diseases because of burning wood to cook food.
Bambanwala village has a population of 10,000. Sui gas pipeline is available at a distance of some kilometers from Bambanwala but the MNAs And MPAs of the area are taking no interest to solve this problem. Bambannwala is the stronghold of PML-N. Its inhabitants tried their best to have the Sui gas facility, but to no avail, for the government of Pervez Musharraf paid no heed to their demand.
Neighbouring areas, Kandan Sian, Mittranwala, Bhadewala, Goindkay, Jandu Sahi towns, are also deprived of the Sui gas facility. Bambanwala village is noted for its irrigation channels such as Upper Chenab Canal, BRB Canal and Ojla Kalan Link Water Channel. Most of the people of the village have settled in the Midle East countries in connection with their jobs and businesses.
The residents Bambannwala and the neighbouring villages have demanded Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to solve their problem.
