LAHORE – Akbar Allahabadi’s name in Urdu Literature is most prominent when it comes to writing about humour. Allahabadi always made fun of Western traditions in a light-hearted manner mixed with satire. He always prompted Muslims to follow Islamic traditions. The Kuliyat-e-Akbar Allahabadi was launched by Nazeer Muhammad at the Urdu Bazaar for lovers of literature and humour.

to Syed Ishrat Hussain (Son).
