ISLAMABAD – An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday reissued an arrest warrant for former president Pervez Musharraf over the assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto. ATC Judge Rana Nisar Ahmad issued the non-bailable warrant during a closed door hearing in Adiala jail.
The next hearing will be held on March 5. The court has ordered to dispatch the arrest warrant to Musharraf on his residential address in the UK. FIA prosecutor Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali said the last warrant issued by the ATC could not be served at Musharraf’s residence in Islamabad as “we were told that he does not live there.”
