LAHORE – The 2nd Chief Minister’s Sports Competitions 2010-11 (Degree Level) will be held here from February 21 to 26. The competitions, organised by the Punjab Sports Department, will be held at the Punjab Stadium. The Education Minister Punjab and Chief Minister Punjab are expected to be the chief guests at the opening and closing ceremonies, respectively.
The competitions in the boys category will include athletics (100m, 200m, 400m, 1500m, 4x400m, 110m hurdles, long jump and shot putt), badminton, basketball, cricket, football, hockey, table tennis and volleyball. The girls will compete in athletics (100m, 200m, 400m, 1500m, 4x400m, 100m hurdles, long jump and shot putt), badminton, basketball, table tennis and volleyball. The opening and closing ceremonies will be held at the National Hockey Stadium.
