Drug pusher gets life imprisonment

KASUR – District and Sessions Judge (DSJ) Nazir Ahmed Ganjana awarded life imprisonment and a heavy fine to a drug pusher Imran. Reportedly, Mustafabad police raided a village Malakwal and recovered 18 kilogram charas from Imran’s possession. The DSJ awarded life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 200,000 to Imran who was involved in the drugs’ business for many years.
SUI GAS SUSPENSION PROTESTED IN KOT RADHA KISHAN: Hundreds of people protested against the suspension of Sui gas at Tehsil Kot Radha Kishan. Reportedly, the protesters took out a rally from a canal to the railway lines where they stopped a Karachi-bound train.
They said that they were deprived of gas for five days and added that suspension of gas had paralysed their life and business activities. They also burnt tyres and raised slogans against the authorities for not providing them with gas.
FAMILY DEPRIVED OF GOLD ORNAMENTS, CASH: Bandits deprived a family of gold ornaments and cash. Reportedly, four armed robbers barged into the house of Javed Gohar, a resident of Pakiza colony, in the jurisdiction of A Division Police Station, held the family hostage at gunpoint and looted eight tolas of gold ornaments and Rs 25,000.
MAN DIES AFTER FALLING INTO FODDER MACHINE: A man died after falling into a fodder machine near Darbar Baba Kamal Chishti in the jurisdiction of Sadar Police Station. Reportedly, Ashraf, a resident of Dingi Pura, went to buy some fodder for his buffaloes.
All of a sudden, he fell into the fodder machine and received serious injuries. He was taken to the DHQ hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.
