Quirky moviemakers, the Farrelly Brothers want Cher to play a scary nun in their ‘Three Stooges’ movie. Peter and Bobby Farrelly insist the ‘Burlesque’ star would be the perfect fit for the Mother Superior role in the comedy. And they have a few other dream castmates for the project, which at one point was to include Jim Carrey, Benicio Del Toro and Sean Penn.
Peter Farrelly tells, “We always thought Andy Samberg looks a little like he could play Larry and Johnny Knoxville is a real-life stooge. He’s a real-life Moe.” Cher played herself in the Farrelly Brothers’ film ‘Stuck on You.’
