PESHAWAR – A suicide bomber was killed as a car bomb exploded near a police station in Bannu city, police said on Friday. The bomber tried to hit the building of police station with his explosive-laden car, but the material exploded before he could reach the target.
Four persons were also injured in the blast. It is pertinent to recall that 20 people were killed in Bannu district last month when a bomber rammed his explosive-laden vehicle into a police station building.
