Woman clubbed to death over suspicion

FAISALABAD – A man killed his brother’s wife over suspicion of having affair with another man. Reportedly, Allah Bakhsh, a resident of Sandheelianwali, bludgeoned his brother’s wife Farhat to death. The deceased left her husband’s house last week over a domestic row with in-laws and went to her parents’ house.
When she returned to her husband’s house, accused Allah Bakhsh attacked her with a heavy stick and killed her over the suspicion that she had affair with some other person. The deceased was the mother of an 18-month-old child.
NINE ARRESTED FROM BROTHEL: Police, on a tip off, raided a house and arrested four prostitutes and five men engaged in immoral acts. Rasheed Abad Police Station In charge Sub Inspector Muhammad Hussain was informed that Farzana, a resident of Chak No 232 RB, was running a brothel.
When a police contingent, headed by the sub inspector, raided the place, they found the group engaged in immoral acts in various rooms of the building. Those arrested included five men, Tanveer, Sunny, Qamar, Naveed and Qaisar, and four prostitutes, Farzana, Fatima, Kausar and Lubna.
DACOITS LOOT BUS: A gang of seven dacoits, including two women, in the garb of passengers, looted a bus near Jhang when it was on its way from Lahore to Dera Ismail Kan. Reportedly, a bus was going from Lahore to Dera Ismail Khan when, at midnight, a group of seven dacoits who were in the garb of passengers took out their weapons and took the passengers hostage at gunpoint.
They forced the driver to stop the bus, collected 30 mobiles and Rs 606,100 from the passengers and escaped from the scene.
