LG unleashes its cricket World Cup campaign

LAHORE – LG Electronics, Global Digital Leader and one of the major sponsors of cricket World Cup, today, unleashed its marketing and promotional campaign titled ‘LG LAO World Cup JAO’ for cricket World Cup 2011. Details of the World Cup campaign were announced at a press conference held at LG Care and Delight Centre in Karachi.
The campaign aims to bring excitement among the cricket lovers by offering exotic instant prizes on purchase of any LG product during the eight week campaign. Among various prizes being offered by LG Electronics, the grand prize is a trip to Sri Lanka and an opportunity to watch cricket match involving Pakistan.
Speaking at the Press Conference, LG’s General Manager S Y Ryu said: “LG is a global company. But in every country that it operates in, LG is sensitive to the local culture. We believe in supporting activities that are important to the people of the countries we are active in. We believe that caring companies must give something back to society.”
