CM Competitions 3rd phase on track

LAHORE – The third phase of the 2nd Chief Minister’s Sports Competitions is in progress at different venues of the province. The girls volleyball, table tennis, basket ball, badminton and athletics competitions were held in Multan. The Government Degree College Multan Kutchery were the winners in volleyball, table tennis and basketball, while the Government Women’s College Khanewal took the badminton title.
In girls athletics, Azra from Government College Multan Kutchery was the winner of the 100m, 400m, 1500m races and long jump. Zahra Shabbir from Government Degree College Lodhran was declared winner in the 200m race while Afshan Rana from Government Degree College Multan Kutchery won the shot putt event.the 4x400m relay race was won by Government Degree College Multan Kutchery.
In Lodharan, boys hockey matches were won by Government Degree College Lodharan. In Khanewal, Government Degree College Mian Channu won the football event. In boys badminton tournaments in Multan, NFC College Multan got first position while the boys basketball was won by Punjab College Multan. In Vehari, the Government Degree College Vehari stood winner in boys volleyball competitions.
In boys athletics, the 100m race was won by Mohammed Shabbir from the Government College Vehari, while Mohammed Danish from Government College Lodhran stood 1st in the 200m and 400m races. Abdul Sattar was declared winner in the 1500m race while Tasawar Hussain won the long jump. Ghulam Haider won the shot putt event. Government Degree College Vehari stood winner in 4x400m race.
In Bahawalpur, the girls volleyball, badminton, table tennis and athletics events were won by Bahawalnagar Division, while girls volleyball and basketball were won by DG Khan Division in DG Khan District.
