LAHORE – Balochistan thrashed Sindh by 127 runs in the first round match on day four of the Faysal Bank Pentangular Cup (first class) 2010-2011 here at the LCCA ground on Thursday. Balochistan scored 173 runs in the first innings and later bowled out Sindh for 105 runs to take a 68 runs lead.
They added another 294 runs in the second innings, and went on to win the match after restricting Sindh to 235. Balochistan bowlers Abdur Rauf, Zulfiqar Baber and Shoaib Maqsood contributed nicely, as the efforts of Sindh’ Atif Maqbool and Danish Kaneria went in vain.
