KARACHI – The City District Government Karachi (CDGK) has cancelled the leaves of its officials belonging to essential service departments – including high-ranking officers and staff – so that they can perform their duty on 12th Rabiul Awwal today (Wednesday). Emergency has been declared at the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and New Karachi Hospital and all medical and paramedical staff has been directed to attend duties on Wednesday.
Ambulance service 1122 will be available in different areas of city. These decisions were announced during a meeting held at the DCO Camp Office on Tuesday under the chairmanship of provincial Information Technology Minister Raza Haroon. Karachi Administrator Fazlur Rehman, DCO Muhammad Hussain Syed, CDGK EDOs and town administrators attended the meeting.
