ISLAMABAD – Scores of flood affected people from Kot Addu of district Muzaffar Garh continued their hunger strike on the second consecutive day here on Monday seeking issuance of second installment of Watan Cards.
They assembled here outside the National Press Club (NPC) and set up a protest camp to convey their grievances to the authorities. They were chanting anti-government slogans for its ‘negligence’ towards their plight. They said the delay in the delivery of second installment of Watan Cards was hampering their efforts to rebuild their lives.
