A rainy Milad on the cards

LAHORE – The Met Office predicted rain on Eid Miladun Nabi’s morning and clear weather for rest of the day. Scattered rain was witnessed in various parts of the city on Tuesday while rain, thunderstorms and snowfall hit Upper Punjab, Islamabad, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.
The Met Office said that dry weather is expected in most parts of the country but isolated rain will hit a few parts of Gujranwala, Lahore and Rawalpindi while snowfall on hills would be witnessed in the Hazara division, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir until noon. The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in Lahore on Tuesday were 22 and seven degrees Celsius.
