Four Bugtis killed by FC in Sui

QUETTA – Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan killed four Bugti tribesmen and injured many others in Sui area of Dera Bugti district on Sunday. During the operation, the law enforcers also arrested a dozen people and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession while the insurgents blew up two gas pipelines that suspended supply to Uch power plant and local population.
According to reliable sources, the FC on a tip-off raided a farari (rebel) camp in the mountains near Sui town and killed four Bugti tribesmen and injured some others. When contacted the FC sources confirmed the action but refused to provide details. However, other sources claimed that many arrests were made in the action while a huge quantity of arms and ammunition was also seized from the miscreants involved in attacks on gas installations and security forces.
They also claimed that the camp, destroyed in the raid, was used for carrying out sabotage activities. Meanwhile, insurgents blew up an 18-inch pipeline, supplying gas Uch gas field to the power plant. When contacted, Tariq Jamali, Public Relation Officer of Uch power plant, told newsmen on telephone that the plant had stopped generating 485MW electricity. The tribesmen also damaged an 8-inch line with explosives in Rabi Canal area of Sohbatpur after which gas supply was suspended to over 60 villages.
On the other hand, gas supply to the province could not be restored completely despite the passage of five days. The miscreants had blown up the two main pipelines Tuesday morning. The gas company had so far managed to repair one pipeline. It is important to note that the consumers in areas like Naseerabad, Jaffarabad, Sibi and Bolan are receiving gas supply while most residents of the provincial capital are without the vital source of energy.
Meanwhile, police found another bullet-riddled body from the outskirts of Quetta after locals spotted it in Rindabad area of Sabazal Road. The body was shifted to Bolan Medical Complex where he was identified as Jabbar Langov who had gone missing a month back. He received bullets in his skull while his hands and feet were tied with a rope.
Talking to media, Nasrullah Baloch, the president of the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, said the way Langov was killed suggested that he was shot dead in spy agencies’ custody.
