KARACHI – Sindh Commerce and Industries Minister Rauf Siddiqui has told SITE Ltd officials to ensure that official record and files do not go missing. According to press release issued on Saturday, the minister, while addressing an immediate session of SITE official at SITE head office, said that negligence in the department would not be tolerated at any cost.
“If employees are found guilty in cases of missing files, they will be terminated from the service and stern legal action will be taken against him,” he warned. Siddiqui appreciated the performance of SITE officials and told them to perform their duties honestly and without negligence or corruption.
“We have not reduced facilities for SITE officials and employees even though we are facing financial problems,” he said. He pointed out that a mini hospital and a modern laboratory have recently been set up in SITE. He directed that an appreciation certificate and two bonus salaries should be presented to SITE engineer Shanul Haq Huqqi for completing the hospital work.
SITE MD Abdul Rasheed Solangi and other officials were also present on the occasion.
