KARACHI – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has requested the American and British consulates to help arresting the absconders of the National Insurance Corporation Limited (NICL) scam, FIA Sindh Director Moazzam Jah said at a press conference held at the FIA camp office in Karachi.
“We have contacted the consulates and provided them with copies of the culprits’ red warrants. We shall bring the absconders back and try them in a Pakistani court,” Jah said. The FIA is making concerted efforts for arresting the culprits, and officials of the consulates have also assured the agency that the culprits would be arrested if they are found in their respective countries.
Although the FIA has arrested NICL Chairman Ayaz Niazi and others, Ameen Qasim Dada is still at large.
