National Women’s Road Cycling from tomorrow

LAHORE: The 1st National Women Road Cycling Championship will be held on February 13 at Kasur. Secretary Pakistan Cycling Federation Idris Haider Khawaja said that for the promotion of cycling among women, the PCF is organising the championship with the collaboration of District Sports Committee Kasur.
This is a national level cycling event and the affiliated units of the PCF including Army, Railways, Wapda, Sui Southern Gas Company and all the four provinces including FATA will be participating.
All teams will arrive at Kasur on February 12 to take part the championship. Two events, 30 kilometers road team time trial and 30 kilometers road race, will be organised. In the opening ceremony, President Punjab Cycling Association Ch. Kamran Amin will be chief guest and in the closing ceremony, District Coordination Officer Kasur Mailk Jahnazeb Awan will be the chief guest.
