Two killed in separate road accidents

MURIDKE – A youth and an elderly man were killed in separate road accidents in Muridke.
In the first accident, a tractor-trailer crushed five-year-old Noshki near Muridke Railway Station when she was playing in a street.
Muridke police are conducting raids to arrest the driver who left the scene after the incident. In the second accident, a 60-year-old man was killed after falling down from a speedy motorcycle-rickshaw while going to Manoonabad from Muridke.
PAK WOMEN CRICKET TEAM WILL FACE NEPAL IN MURIDKE: Asian champion Pakistan women cricket team is going to face Nepal women cricket team in three twenty20 cricket matches from Friday (today) at Lahore Country Club Muridke.
The Pakistan team played a practice match the other day and showed their strength. Coach Mansoor Rana who was with Asian champions expressed his satisfaction over the performance of his team against Nepal. He said Pakistan women cricket team was a blend of young and experienced players who would perform well against the Nepali team.
Pakistan team captain, Sana Mir, was also hopeful of winning the series against Nepal.
