People are fed up of corrupt politicians: Imran

LAHORE – People are fed up of corrupt politicians who have only looted the national exchequer and pushed the country towards lawlessness and chaos, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Thursday while addressing a public gathering at Malikwal.
He said that politicians have succeeded in only increasing poverty, lawlessness, unemployment and corruption and now people are desperate for a change. Imran said that corrupt people will get “clean bold” on his one ball and the PTI will not only ensure ouster of such people but across the board accountability as well. Cronies of the US, sitting in the Punjab government, are responsible for Shumaila’s death and it is the last nail in coffin of these rulers who have sold the nation but the PTI would not rest until justice prevails, the PTI chairman said.
Commenting on reduction in the federal cabinet’s size, he said that unless the “bunch of thieves” is working as ministers, nothing fruitful could come out. He said that the federal government, which claims that reducing the cabinet is its achievement, was forced to do so due to public pressure and very soon ministers would start telling the truth, as they have to contest the next elections. Imran said that unless real issues are not addressed, slogans of corrupt rulers would only befool the masses.
