LAHORE – Kinnaird College and Okara College reached the final of the Inter-collegiate Lahore Board Cricket Tournament here on Thursday. The final will be played today at the Kinnaird College Ground. Islamia College Cooper Road and Samanabad College will play the playoff for third place. In the first semi-final, KC beat Samanabad College by 10 wickets.
The Samnabad were restricted to 32 runs in the allotted 15 overs. Amna was the top scorer with just six runs. KC’s Hafza and Saba took three and two wickets respectively. Later, KC openers achieved the score in 2.1 overs. Hafza made 19 runs and Farya scored 16. In the second semi-final, Okara beat Islamia College by eight wickets. Islamia College made 93-8. Asma (24) and Muneeza (19) were the top scorers. Okara’s Qandeel took three wickets while Shabnam bagged two.
In reply, Okara College chased the target in the last over after losing two wickets. Aiysha (42) and Sabeen (22) lead their team to victory. Islamia’s Asma took two wickets.
