LAHORE – Headquarters SP Rao Muneer Ahmad Zia punished 44 cops on charges of misconduct and corruption. According to a release issued on Thursday, Muneer dismissed 15 officials over long absence, stopped annual increments of three officials and awarded six-month forfeiture of service to an ASI.
LIQUOR FACTORY RAIDED: Sherakot police claimed to have arrested two drug dealers and recovered 2,400 bottles of liquor from a wine making factory on Thursday.
SHO Hussain Haider conducted raid at RA Street on a tip-off and arrested Razzaq Umar and Naeem, the drug dealers.
