Pak Suzuki denies car recall rumors

LAHORE – Given safety concerns voiced in the media over Faber CNG cylinders fitted in Suzuki vehicles, the company has sought to address any misconceptions and categorically denied any recall of vehicles. Faber cylinders were introduced in vehicles after due consideration of safety and quality, after approval by the concerned regulatory authority and Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, the company stressed.
It was acknowledged that there are certain difficulties being faced in the clearance of these cylinders with the company expressing hope that the issue will be resolved quickly. It was categorically denied that the company is testing or considering the fitting of another CNG cylinder. It was claimed that Faber is the sole supplier of many OEMs worldwide because their cylinders are light weight and of superior quality, which is most suitable for small vehicles.
