PU VC assures IPP students their problems will be resolved

LAHORE – Punjab University (PU) Vice-Chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran on Tuesday held a meeting with students of the Institute of Plant Pathology (IPP) at the Al-Raazi Hall of the Centre for Undergraduate Studies and assured them of resolving all their problems.
The PU VC, on request of students, allowed student representatives to meet him today (Wednesday) as efforts are already being made to provide them relief. While discussing problems of IPP students, Kamran said that he had a good intention for solving their issues out of which most have been solved.
The PU VC said that he had directed the university administration to resolve all issues facing students and directions have already been issued for appointment of relevant teachers at departments. Kamran said that the only pending issue of agricultural degrees was under process with the relevant academic committee and would soon be resolved.
He asked students to remain calm, as the administration has to follow formalities and proceed according to law. The PU VC said that he met students of the Electrical Engineering Department on Tuesday who had adopted a proper channel for settlement of their problems and he assured fair treatment and early resolution of their problems.
