Nine of a family butchered in Mandi Bahauddin

GUJRANWALA – Nine people, including three children and women, of a family were killed over an old enmity in Phalia tehsil of Mandi Bahauddin district on Tuesday. Per details, unidentified men trespassed into Irshad’s house in Phalia in Qadirabad police precincts during the night between Monday and Tuesday, and slaughtered the family members using axes.
Six of the deceased were identified as Irshad Ahmad, Fayyaz Ahmad, Razia, Hamsheera Nanni, Shoaib, Suhail, Muhammad Nawaz, Qaisar Bashir and Kausar Bibi. After receiving information about the incident, Mandi Bahauddin DPO Abdulrab Chaudhry and Qadirabad police SHO rushed to the site. The DPO said none of the family members of Dilshad Tilla had survived the assault. Police moved the bodies to a hospital for postmortem.
The DPO added that Dilshad Tilla had an old enmity in the village and some killings of rival groups were already on police record.
