HAFIZABAD – Punjab Chief Minister’s Task Force on Education Chairman Saira Afzal Tarar said the provincial government was committed to providing all basic needs of life to the people in the Punjab with out any discrimination.
She was addressing a meeting held in the meeting room of Hafizabad Tehsil Municipal Administration on Monday.
She said that Punjab government was spending more than Rs 2 billion on the completion of different development schemes in district. She said that development funds were being spent in the urban and rural union councils of the district equally. She claimed that attendance of teachers in the schools had improved. She directed the tehsil municipal officers to remove all kinds of encroachments from the city without any discrimination for giving better communication facilities to the people.
Bait-ul-Maal provides assistance to TB victim: Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal Managing Director Zamurrad Khan will bear the expenses to be incurred on the treatment of 18-year-old Muhammad Irfan who is suffering from TB. Zamurrad Khan has said that Rs 5,000 would be given every month to the victim’s family for immediate relief. He added that Pakistan Baitul Maal would bear all the expenses, including treatment, boarding and lodging.
On the direction of Managing DDO Bait-ul-Mall Zulfiqar Ali Khan reached village Vinni at the home of Muhammad Irfan for shifting him to Islamabad.
