LAHORE – The University of Health Sciences is facing administrative irregularities. The policy of the current administration to award top positions to only students of private medical institutions is leading to deterioration of the standard of medical education in Punjab.
This situation of medical colleges has raised concerns amongst members of PMA and YDA. PMA office bearers and Dr Salman Kazmi in association with YDA office bearers demanded Punjab government to terminate current vice chancellor and appoint a regular vice chancellor for UHS.
The current vice chancellor is still holding office despite termination of his term which is against 2002 ordinance of university of health sciences.
