LAHORE – Nasir Iqbal defeated fellow team mate Sadam Ul Haq in the final to clinch the Punjab National Junior Squash Championship 2011, that concluded here at the PSA Complex on Monday. Iqbal took 21 minutes to undo the resistance extended by Sadam.
He won the match in three straight games and kept Sadam on his toes with challenging drop and cross court shots. In the girls category, winner Zoya Khalid was taken to full length by Riffat Khan, who won the opening game and kept fighting in the next three to give Zoya a tough time.
Sardar Latif Khan Khosa was the chief guest at the final match. Syed Razi Nawab SVP, PSF, Malik Amjad Ali Noon President PSA, Abid Aziz, VP. PSA, Dr. Arif Hassan Khan VP. PSA were also present at the prize distribution ceremony. Apart from the under-19 finals, the title games were also decided in the Under-11, 13, 15 and 17 age categories of both boys and girls categories.

Under-17: Ali Bukhari (FMC) beat Faraz Khan (PAF) 11-8, 14-12, 11-7
Under-19: Nasir Iqbal (PAF) beat Sadam Ul Haq (PAF) 11-5, 11-4, 11-4
GIRLS: Under-15: Faiza Zaffar (Sindh) beat Monisa Nasir (Pb) 12-10, 11-2, 11-3
