LAHORE – The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday issued transfer orders of four civil judges-cum-judicial magistrates. According to a notification issued by the LHC registrar, Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate Shahzaz Ahmed was transferred from Vehari to Mailsi, Shazib Dar from Pattoki to Vehari, Waqar Mansoor from Chiniot to Bhowana and Babar Hussain from Chiniot to Lalian.
They would assume their new office on or before February 10. Transfers of civil judges Shainshah Raza Kamal and Masood Asghar from Chiniot to Bhowana and Laian respectively made vide notification dated February 2 have been cancelled by the LHC.
Taking action on request of the Punjab government, the LHC on Monday placed services of Khalid Nawaz, district and sessions judge, awaiting posting, at disposal of the Punjab government for posting as presiding officer, district consumer court, Lahore in place of D&SJ Ijaz Ali who has been repatriated. Unless directed otherwise, the officer would stand repatriated to the LHC on completion of three years.
