Three women kidnapped over marriage dispute

FAISALABAD – At least six people kidnapped three women when their proposal of marriage was rejected by the victim family of Jhumra Raod, Utility Store area. Rustam Ali reported to the police that his wife Safia Bibi, daughter Eman and sister Rajan Bibi were kidnapped by Liaqat, Ashiq Ali, Nausher, Ashraf, Jaffar and an unidentified accomplice.
He said the accused party was enraged over the rejection of their marriage proposal for his sister. The police, after registering a case against the six men, have started raiding various places to recover the kidnapped women.
MAN RAPES SISTER-IN-LAW: A man raped his elder brother’s wife in their house when she was alone. According to details, Saima reported to Raza Abad police that she was raped by her husband’s younger brother when she was alone in the house. Waqas Haider dragged her to her bedroom and raped her. In another incident, Sajida Bibi, a resident of Rasoolpura, reported that Anwar took her unmarried daughter to his house and raped her.
WOMAN FOUND STRANGLED: An elderly woman was found strangled in her house in a broad daylight. According to details, Mukhtaran Bibi, a resident of Chak No 54 J.B who was alone in her house was found dead in the afternoon with a rope tightened around her neck by unidentified killers.
Nishatabad police took the body for postmortem and registered a case of murder on the complaint of the deceased’s son Abdul Ghafoor.
