LAHORE – Former president and chief of the All Pakistan Muslim League, Gen (r) Pervez Musharraf, was thrown a shoe at during a conference in London. Musharraf was addressing the gathering when the incident occurred, however the shoe fell in the front rows and failed to reach Musharraf.
The security personnel sprung to action and took the man out of the place. The attacker kept chanting slogans in favour of Dr Aafia Siddiqui, currently in the US detention. The man who hurled the shoe is so far unidentified.
